How delivery works

At Cake Cart, we are committed to ensuring that your delicious treats arrive fresh and on time, no matter where you are in the country. Here’s how our delivery process works:

Nationwide Delivery:
All our products are available for delivery across the nation, from Monday to Saturday.

Swift Dispatch:

Your order will be shipped approximately one day after our selected dispatched date.

Expect doorstep delivery within approximately 1-2 business days with Express Shipping or 3-5 business days with Economy Shipping, courtesy of our trusted courier partners.

Planning for Events:
If you need your order for an event on the weekend, please place your order by the preceding Monday. This ensures ample time for delivery and helps avoid any last-minute rush.

Receiving Your Order:
Please ensure someone is available to receive your order during the communicated delivery times. We reserve the right to charge a delivery fee equivalent to the initial delivery fee if re-delivery is required.

Careful Packaging:
We wrap your order carefully in specially designed, insulated packaging complete with ice packs to make sure it stays fresh in all conditions.

Unpacking and Enjoying:
Before you know it, your treats will arrive on your doorstep.

Cakes ship chilled.
If your cake arrives within 2 days of the expected delivery date, it is safe to enjoy!
To Store Frozen: Place the cake immediately in the freezer. It may be kept frozen for up to 3 months.
To Store Refrigerated: Keep the cake in the wrapping it came in and place it in the refrigerator. The cake may be kept refrigerated for up to 1 week.

How to Unbox Your Cake:
For the absolute best result, keep the cake in the fridge overnight. If you need it sooner, you can place the cake in the freezer or fridge for a minimum of 2 hours. This allows the delicious frosting to stabilise, ensuring a smooth finish when unwrapped.

When ready to enjoy, remove the protective layers in this order:
First, take off the plastic wrap.
Then, gently peel away the acetate layer.
Place your cake on a beautiful plate, cut, and enjoy every delightful bite!
